    Senior Web Developer

    Salary: £35,000-£45,000
    Bigfoodie is an online and mobile takeaway ordering website.​ As a successful and fast growing company, we love not only new business ideas, but also new technologies.​ We are now looking for a senior software developer to join our team to work in an environment where you can learn new technologies, focus on the detail and combine your love of code and appreciation of design patterns.​
    You will work with our teams to develop and deliver high quality mobile apps, websites and services, you will need to use cutting edge mobile technology to help with our business development and growth and to provide our customers with amazing experiences.​ You will manage and mentor the development team.​ You will also play a key role in website security, server monitoring and support.​
    Technical requirements:
    Be open to any new technology
    Quickly adapt to development of new technology
    Have strong interest in mobile and internet
    Understand business requirements
    Be able to provide technical solution for various problems to match the business development plan
    Familiar with Agile and Scrum
    Familiar with Git and GitHub
    Familiar with open source project development

    Manager £40,000 OTE (£20,000 basic, plus £20,000 OTE)
    Sales Executive £30,000 OTE (£14,500 basic, plus £15,500 OTE)

    Hours: Monday-Thursday 11:00-8pm and Friday 11:00-5pm (37.​5 hours per week) with no weekends

    You'll be the voice of bigfoodie.​co.​uk contact potential partner restaurants, so your phone manner is the biggest deal here.​ Up-front, friendly and polite, that’s you.​ We’ll help you fill your noggins with product information, so you should be ready to keep up-to-date with our tasty new industry developments.​ And with monthly figures to smash, you must be comfortable working in a target-driven environment.​ Basic computer skills and a willingness to work flexible hours are essential too.​
    We need you to be comfortable with making ‘cold calls’ and ‘follow up call’ to takeaway restaurant, in order to list restaurant information and accept online orders.​ Our targets are challenging, yet rewarding, and we need you to put in 110%​.​ Ideally, you will have some experience of sales, and closing deals – if you do, we’d love to have you in our team!
    Experience in telesales is necessary.​ Previous experience within ecommerce and restaurant section is an advantage.​

    We are looking for a UK Regional PR & Social Media Manager.​ This position will be based in our London office, planning and outreach role.​ You will work closely with the Director of Marketing as well as the regional and restaurant community teams to help build awareness and visibility of Bigfoodie,recruit and manage university branding executive.​ You would also work with our PR agency, which handles brand building and consumer outreach on a national level.​
    More specifically, you will:
    Develop and execute an effective PR plan that supports the company plans to build our presence and awareness in the UK markets, support all regional launches & major announcements.​
    Work with the Marketing Director, Restaurant Community Team and Regional Managers to plan & implement PR campaigns that support company goals and recruit university branding executive, deliver Bigfoodie branding to Uni national wide.​
    Establish and develop close, productive relationships with journalists, bloggers, reviewers and our key partners.​
    Work with PR agencies and co-ordinate special projects, and events.​
    Identify, plan and execute events, including industry-related shows, community and blogger meet-ups and press launches.​
    Write and develop press releases, FAQs, Q&As, strategy documents, story pitches, messaging guidelines and briefing documents.​
    REQUIREMENTS:
    A Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.​
    A minimum of 1 years’ PR experience, with agency and startup experience preferred.​
    Demonstrable experience of strategic PR planning and implementation, either in-house or in an agency environment.​
    Ability lead team to deliver target.​
    A proactive, tenacious and self-motivated approach, with great organisational skills.​
    Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate confidently, professionally and proactively with a broad spectrum of people.​
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an eye for detail.​
